Step-by-step:
RENOVA only needs to be applied once per day
at night, ideally right before you go to bed where
it can remain undisturbed on your skin. This page
contains additional advice on using RENOVA for
maximum success. However, if your doctor has given
you personal instructions on how and when to use
RENOVA, be sure to follow them.
Preparing
your skin for RENOVA
1.
Cleanse
Wash your face thoroughly with mild soap or gentle
alcohol-free cleanser. Pat dry (avoid rubbing).
2.
Wait
After washing, wait 20 to 30 minutes before applying
RENOVA to be sure your skin is totally dry. Skin
that is wet, damp, or even moist tends to absorb
cream quickly, which may cause unnecessary irritation.
How
to apply RENOVA
1.
After your face is totally dry, squeeze a pearl-sized
amount (about 1/4" diameter) of RENOVA onto your
fingertip. Important note: using more than a pearl-sized
amount will not increase your results and may
cause irritation.
2.
Dab it on your forehead, chin, and both cheeks.
3.
Pat your skin so the small dabs begin to spread
into a thin layer that covers your entire face.
Smooth into skin until all white streaks have
disappeared.
4.
After applying RENOVA, you can apply a moisturizer;
however, for best results, wait one hour in between
if possible.
Morning
skin care
(Before you apply makeup)
1.
Cleanse as in the evening.
2.
Moisturize with a non-pore-clogging (non-comedogenic)
moisturizer.
3.
Protect with sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher before
you apply any make-up. This is very important
since RENOVA may make your skin more sensitive
to the sun. Instead of applying a separate sunscreen,
you may prefer to use a combination sunscreen-moisturizer
with SPF 15 or higher.
