The comments presented below do not take the place of a discussion with a doctor or other health care professional. RENOVA is not appropriate for everyone, so ask your dermatologist if RENOVA is right for you. Dr. Lawrence Green, M.D. I find RENOVA to be the most versatile weapon in the anti-aging market today. In the battle against sun aging, I find nightly use of RENOVA reduces fine wrinkles, lessens sun freckles (liver spots), evens skin tone, and smoothes and softens the skin, when used in conjunction with sunscreen in the morning.

RENOVA usually begins to work after just a few months of therapy, with ongoing improvement through the first year of use. The average improvement at this time in the above mentioned features of sun aging is about 25-30%. RENOVA is suited for most people, save those with super sensitive skin.

I recommend RENOVA cream as the starting point for those individuals interested in making a serious effort to reduce the signs of sun aging. I can add AHA's, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or even laser if an individual desires. I also find bleaching creams and RENOVA to be the most effective way to reduce any brown spots.

Dr. Deborah S. Sarnoff, M.D. In my practice, I often recommend sunscreen, moisturizer, and RENOVA as the three "must do's" for women interested in improving their appearance.

Dr. Marta Rendon, M.D. I recommend that all my patients aged 30-plus start an anti-aging treatment program. I like to personalize programs, grading skins according to skin type and amount of sun damage. I do believe in counseling so that expectations are not unrealistic. Normally, I start with a topical retinoid cream such as RENOVA, sunscreen, and a sun protection plan. Then I add other products as necessary.

A lot of my patients are babyboomers and are aware of the danger of overexposure and eventual skin cancer. They do exceptionally well with RENOVA. The more consistent they are, the more significant the results. Most tolerate it well. For those who develop mild irritation, reducing RENOVA use to three times per week may be recommended. It takes patients from 6 months to a year to achieve maximum benefit from RENOVA use.

My patients tend to be highly motivated, and its rewarding for them to see visible results with RENOVA.
